Samuel Rosenberg: Portrait of A Painter


Written by Westmoreland Museum of American Art Curator Barbara L. Jones, this newly published 174-page monograph contains 82 color plates and essays by Barbara Burstin, Eric Leif Davin, Laurence Glasco and Bennard Perlman. It chronicles the life and career of this important Pittsburgh artist and teacher and accompanied the retrospective exhibition Samuel Rosenberg: Portrait of a Painter at the Museum between June 29 and October 19, 2003. Glowing testimonials accompanied the book's release in June of 2003.
